A menu at lower right offers a choice of functions \(f(u)\) of period \(2\pi\). A slider selects the value of the circular frequency \(\omega\).
The graphing window at left displays graphs of \(f(\omega t)\) (in cyan) and of the steady state response of the harmonic oscillator with natural frequency 1 to this input signal (in yellow). Rolling the cursor over the graphing window produces crosshairs and a readout of the values of \(t\) and \(x\). Depressing the mousekey suppresses the crosshairs.
Above the \(\omega\) slider is a graph of the root mean square size of the system response. Rolling over this window produces a readout of this value and a horizontal yellow line relating this value to the graphing window. Depressing the mousekey suppresses the horizontal line.
