LINEARIZED TRIGONOMETRY

A graphing window shows a right triangle with red hypotenuse of length $$1$$, green adjacent side of length $$a$$, and cyan opposite side of length $$b$$. The angle $$\theta$$ is marked in yellow. A slider under the window controls the slope $$m = \frac{b}{a}$$. Colored readouts display values of $$m, \theta, a,$$ and $$b$$. Checkboxes select display of the first four terms of the Maclaurin series for $$a, b,$$ or $$\theta$$, in terms of $$m$$.
