Amplitude and Phase: Second Order I

A spring drives sinusoidally a spring/dashpot/mass system. The predictable amplitude and phase lag of the sinusoidal system response can be understood using Bode and Nyquist plots.

    Hello Instructor.

In the second page of the theory , Amplitude of the input signal defined as both A &B
where as in the first page it has been defined as B. Could you please correct it ? or please let me know if my understanding is wrong

I think B is used for the input amplitude, A for the system response amplitude: in parallel with y for the input signal, x for the system response.
