Discussion: Please welcome: new Javascript versions!
Posted on January 24, 2015 by hrm |
We now have 36 JavaScript Mathlets on this site. Most of the old Java is still available, but has been joined by Javascript versions.
Some other changes:
- Football Trajectory has been renamed Ballistic Trajectory.
- Waves has been replaced by Wave Equations, which now illustrates Fourier's solution as well as d'Alembert's.

Hi, i'm having problems with this mathlet:
"http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-02sc-multivariable-calculus-fall-2010/2.-partial-derivatives/part-a-functions-of-two-variables-tangent-approximation-and-optimization/session-24-functions-of-two-variables-graphs/MIT18_02SC_s24_applet.html"
I think the new Java's versions does not suppport it anymore, are you aware about this?
Thanks !!!
It gets progressively harder to persuade browsers to run Java. If you go to mathlets.org you will find that most of the Mathlets have now been ported to Javascript.
Good luck!
